Retirement in Haaga
Miss Scarlett O'Hara has grown old. First her cheeks turned grey, then eyelashes, followed by ears and crown. But she feels pretty, oh so pretty!
Tara has been very happy with our new place in Haaga. There's a lift (she loathes stairs nowadays, as she has shoulder pains and walking down the stairs seems to be painful). Helsinki Central Park is within walking distance.
Tara needs her beauty treatments. There's an interesting saluki boy, Luru, living nearby. We need to keep an eye on the couple. There's love in the air, and we wouldn't be surprised if they eloped.
Tara turned 11 last month. She's still brisk and curious, and we take her out for surprisingly long walks. However, she's started to have breaks: she just walks to a soft spot, turns around a few times and lies down.
There's one thing that hasn't changed. Tara has a healthy appetite, and she loves salmon even more than liver!
We have four rabbits (mother and three baby bunnies), three young
squirrels, a wood pigeon and a brown hare living in our yard.
Breakfast,
lunch, dinner and a few snacks: so many furry little
creatures to stalk and chase. Oh the joy of living close to a forest!

It sounds like it all agrees with you, and certainly with Tara!
